Other than bearing a fully- loaded Heckler & Koch, and fleeing, I can't remember breaking any law. For those two, I'm guilty. Vaguely, I can recall evading the police. After almost being cornered, managing to somehow escape to make it back home I was overwhelmed by the inclination to dispose of my lethal companion. I haven't done anything. But still, the gun has to go. Strangely, I could smell chalk and burnt paper. Gunpowder! It tied me to something. Something that I will surely regret.

Summary of incident: Thompson and a co-defendant entered a convenience store and robbed the clerk . When they were leaving the store, Thompson, who possessed a .25-caliber pistol, and the co-defendant, Sammy Butler, who possessed a .38-caliber pistol, fatally shot the store clerk. Thompson and Butler had robbed at least 8 other convenience stores, with three of them involving the fatal shooting of the clerks.

Summary of incident: On 1/26/2000, Simpson and three co-defendants went to the residence of an 84 year old white female. They taped her mouth with duct tape, tied her hands and feet, put her in the trunk of her vehicle, drove to the Nueces River, tied a rope with a block to her, and threw her in the river, causing her death. Simpson and his co-defendants were in possession of the victim's vehicle at the time of arrest.

Last Statement: Yeah, I want to tell my family I love ya'll. Tell Kate I love her too. Tell brother, my kids I live ya'll. I'm gonna miss ya'll. I'm ready, ready.

Summary of incident: On 06/07/1999 in Pasadena, Valle forced his way into a 28 year old Hispanic male victim's residence at gunpoint. The victim was robbed and shot several times, resulting in his death.

I was forced to do it. I was a gang member. I never wanted to kill your brother. I was forced to do this. I blame myself. I am not going to blame nobody. I got my mother and my family too. Film Trailer: PDA and the City

Released in 2002, directed and co-written by Peter Sollett, Raising Victor Vargas is about more than an LES teen and his efforts to establish a playboy reputation. I thought the raw acting was the film's best quality. The story was as interesting as it was believable.

While watching the film, at times, I was reminded of the extraordinary amounts of PDA that I've seen in NYC, particularly while riding on public transportation. Me, being a Chicagoan find it somewhat foreign to see adults holding hands and kissing everywhere I turn. Raising Victor provided some insight. Population density fosters fierce competition. I can imagine that going so hard against the odds and getting the girl might incite a certain degree of pride. Still, don't look to catch me slipping the tongue on the CTA. Never.

Summary of incident

On 03/17/98, Oliver and three juvenile co-defendants were in the process of burglarizing the residence of a 64-year old white male. Oliver and the co-defendants were in the house and Reed was in the vehicle. The victim surprised Oliver and Oliver shot the victim in the face with a 380-caliber handgun. The victim was beaten around the head with the butt of a rifle. Oliver and the co-defendants fled the scene. They were arrested in a motel in Waco, Texas.

Last Statement: Collins family, I know your not going to get the closure you are looking for tonight. I wish you the best. I prayed for ya'll every day and every night. I have only the warmest wishes. I am sorry for what you are having to go through. Mom, Pa, Kristy, Khristopher, Tony I love all ya'll. Thank you Mr. Whiteside.
